The Battaglini Extra-Virgin Olive Oil of Bolsena
Three typical varieties of olives are cultivated by the Battaglini Farmhouse in the Bolsena region, these are “caninese”, “maraiolo” and “frantoio”. The oil obtained is a blend of the three varieties which results in the high quality of the product, balancing its pungent, bitter and full-bodies flavour. The Battaglini Farmhouse oil has a fresh, fruity taste with a delicate, pungent and bitter nuance compared to the oils produced in the surrounding areas. |
Virgin Olive Oil
The Battaglini’s Extra-virgin Olive Oil, besides its perfect flavour of an extra-virgin oil, has an acidity of about 0.2 gr. per 100 gr. (oleic acid). |
